Fornasetti’s first outdoor collection, ‘The Garden of Possible Natures’ as seen at Milan Design Week 2022

The novelty released by Fornasetti for the 2022 Milan Design Week was a surprising exploration of the outdoors. The creative linear design of the structures combined with the mix and match decorative fabrics makes for a totally unique approach for your outdoor space.

The Fornasetti ‘Sole’ (sun) is laser cut manually onto steel and it comes to life on garden & coffee tables where a delicate game of creating light and shadows happens in the garden. The design and process marks a completely new material and craftsmanship process for the Atelier. The Ara Solis pedestal base recalls the columns of a Greek temple and matches the Capitellum chair perfectly.

The Unusual Outdoor Living Rooms are enhanced by a wide variety of fabric options.

When considering the outdoor fabric colours and patterns, Fornasetti wanted to ensure they were compatible for mixing and matching. The purpose; so each setting was a unique and playful set, a different representation every time.

The outdoor bar cart was another playful new design Fornasetti released at Milan Design Week, the fine lines and colour options ensures it fits perfectly alongside the new outdoor collection as well as the existing indoor collections.

The different stages of production follow the Atelier’s original processes and require 7 months for the creation of each piece of furniture.
